Miami House Movement was created to increase awareness of house music in Miami. Simply put we asked where can we go to hear house music in Miami and no one could tell us where to go. We didn’t hear house music on the radio, but we did meet others who shared the same love and enjoyment of house music.
Our goal is to share our love for house music by providing a platform for like-minded individuals and groups and yes even non house heads to share their ideas, talents, etc. One of the ways we accomplish this goal is to interview DJ’s, producers, vocalists, etc., in Miami and throughout the world. One of the reasons we decided to start the interviews is that most of us think of DJ’s as just that – a DJ, but we know there’s more to a DJ….
In the future we plan to expand our features to include podcasts, live audio/video, and events.
